If you have believed the report of the Lord, and counted Him faithful Who has promised (Hebrews 11:11), you have a just claim!
* just: proper; orderly; due, suitable; upright; honest
Isaiah 40:27-31 (NKJV)
27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
And speak, O Israel:
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
The Lord will never let His people down or slack up on His promises (II Peter 3:9). Those who trust in Him will never be put to shame. Those who wait on (demonstrate a confident expectation and active hope in) the Lord are going to renew their strength. The Lord gives power to those who trust in Him.
Don’t passively resign (withdraw) from believing the report of the Lord. You have a just claim. God sees your situation and all it takes is one word from Him to Rock Your World! Allow yourself to be trained up in the faith of Jesus Christ – don’t withdraw your confidence (Hebrews 10:35); endure, be steadfast and persevere!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
