Today and always, be intentional about being an expression of God’s Love. God is the Architect! His building – His house, His family, His work; is established through Love. God is Love!
God is intentional and He is all about doing things ON PURPOSE! His purpose for us is not only to live in and experience His Love for ourselves only, but also for us to be an expression of Love to others. If the intent of our heart is established in the Love of God, to show Love, then we are walking in His will, according to His plan.
I Corinthians 13:8 ‘Love never fails.’
(14:1 – ‘Pursue Love.’)
I Corinthians 16:13 ‘Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. *Let all you do be done with ‘Love’.
We cannot be put to shame by trusting God, no matter how vulnerable we may feel. He is our Maker and Creator; the One who plans, organizes, and structures our lives (by His Word and Spirit). He is the Architect!
Following the leading of the Holy Spirit is the way to meet the purpose of God for our lives, because the Love of God fills our heart by His Spirit, which He has given us. That is His plan! Romans 5:5 and 8:14 says,
5:5 “..the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.”
In pursuing Love, we have to trust that we are sons and daughters of God, led of His Spirit; that we are His sheep and we know His voice and won’t follow the voice of a stranger; that we know the Word of Truth and the Spirit of Truth, which brings liberty to our lives and makes us free from bondage and the spirit of error. I John 3:18-24 in the Passion Translation (TPT) gives a good picture of God’s intention for us, in Love:
“18 Beloved children, our love can’t be an abstract theory we only talk about, but a way of life demonstrated through our loving deeds. 19 We know that the Truth lives within us because we demonstrate Love in action, which will reassure our hearts in His presence. 20 Whenever our hearts make us feel guilty and remind us of our failures, we know that God is much greater and more merciful than our conscience, and He knows everything there is to know about us. 21 My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts don’t condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God. 22 And whatever we ask of Him we receive, because we keep His commands. And by our beautiful intentions we continue to do what brings pleasure to Him. 23 So these are His commands: that we continually place our trust in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and that we keep Loving one another, just as He has commanded us. 24 For all who obey His commands find their lives joined in union with Him, and He lives and flourishes in them. We know and have proof that He constantly lives and flourishes in us, by the Spirit that He has given us.”
