7But unto every one of us is given Grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8Wherefore he said, when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Glory to God!

It is such an honor to be welcomed, on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ, to witness of the Grace of God and to share the gift of Christ. My name is Daniel Braxton, and I am the Founder and President of READY® Truth Ministries.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as a youth, but it was in the year 2012 that I experienced a life-changing spiritual revelation of God’s Grace and divine purpose. During the years leading up to that time, most of my hours were spent pursuing a college degree, managing a dream to become a major hip-hop industry artist and label executive, and living it up with family and friends. My walk of faith was tied to attending Sunday morning church services at a local church in Birmingham, AL and living with an honest personal ascent to do what is right as a born-again believer.

Even with a mind set to please God by trying to live right and confessing and letting go of habitual sins, it was still a struggle for me to have victory over matters of the soul. Condemnation, embarrassment, regret, shame, and even fear came, because of things I had done wrong in the past, and even for the mistakes that were made along the way, in my day-to-day life.

I became a regular viewer of the Changing Your World morning broadcast on TBN, featuring the teachings of Pastor Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church International in College Park, GA. Hearing the teachings of Pastor Dollar helped me to understand THE GIFT of salvation. The message was so clear – Jesus came to complete a work that we, as human-beings, were unable to. I realized that the salvation I had RECEIVED was not by any ability, or human strength of mine to turn from sin and live right; but that it was by the GRACE of God through faith in Christ Jesus that I had been saved!

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

After receiving the revelation of God’s Grace in Christ Jesus, I began to be excited about the things of God. I set in my heart to walk in the will of God by Grace, and soon was led to read a book that belonged to my parents, titled: The Purpose Driven Life by Dr. Rick Warren. The book helped to clarify God’s purpose for my life; and also, through the writing portion, to prioritize things by their importance to purpose.

After finishing the readings for The Purpose Driven Life, I borrowed another book from my parents in 2013, titled: Smith Wigglesworth on Spiritual Gifts. While reading the book, my heart was filled with admiration of the Spirit of God and the gifts that He gives. With an earnest to speak in tongues, I prayed and asked God, and became filled with the Holy Spirit.

In the Summer of 2014, I began writing songs that witnessed of the Grace of God that had been revealed in my life. With seven songs on paper, and a growing excitement to tell the world about God’s Grace; I was led to record and distribute a gospel album. The work, titled ‘7 Songs of Story’, was released on October 31, 2014.

In a matter of a few years, I saw the power of God completely change my walk of life. I stopped living as one looking to be justified in his own strength and became as one who understands and appreciates the GIFT of God’s Grace in Christ Jesus.

And he said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

READY® Truth Ministries now stands to fulfill the purpose of sharing the revelation of God’s Grace and bringing an awareness of the gift of Christ through ministry and Gospel media. God has given Grace to every believer, according to the measure of the gift of Christ. He has given gifts and abilities in Christ, which He has purposed to be used for His Glory (Ephesians 4:1-16).

7 But unto every one of us is given Grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he said, when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.

My hope is for the uniting, growing, and maturing of the Body of Christ – the Church, into the fullness of the stature of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every member operating effectively by Grace, according to the measure of the GIFT of Christ (Ephesians 4:7-8) – for the edifying of the Body of itself in Love, for the perfecting of the Saints, and for the work of the ministry. I hope to see the Church in the full unity of faith, READY as a bride, and gloriously united with God’s Holy Lamb.
