I Thank God for enabling us to distinguish between the sufferings of disobedience (for evil) and the sufferings of the Gospel (for Christ, good).
That we would know the difference between a test of character and a guilty conscience – moreover, that we would embrace (by faith) opportunities for character building and severe ties with those things that bring condemnation.
When we suffer, it should only be because we have served God faithfully in obedience, and not because we have done anything wrong in disobedience (I Peter 3:17).
I Peter 4:19 KJV “Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.“
